The 2024 Wellness Fairs: Accessibility Information
The BeWell Wellness Fair is for Stanford employees and faculty to enjoy. All vendor tables and booths will be set up with accessibility in mind. Here are some details to help you navigate the event.
Stanford campus:
- Activities on the Stanford campus will take place on Koret Plaza, at the intersection of Galvez Street and Campus Drive. Vendor tables will line both sides of the curved, paved, step-free path of the Plaza. There are curb ramps providing access to the event near all three corners of the plaza.
Stanford Redwood City campus:
- Activities at the Redwood City Campus will take place at Stanford Square, between Discovery Hall and Arrillaga Hall. Vendor tables will line the step-free pathways around the square. There are curb ramps providing access to the event from the connecting streets.
Staff and volunteers will be on hand throughout both events to assist attendees. They will be wearing white BeWell vests or red vests. Additional assistance will be available at the BeWell tables.
Timekeeping for non-exempt staff
The wellness of our community is important, so all employees should be permitted time to attend.
Non-exempt employees who wish to attend the event and are approved to do so by their supervisor, taking into consideration operational needs, should be permitted time to attend. This time should include the unpaid lunch break. Any time outside the normally scheduled unpaid lunch break should be reflected as paid work time in the employee’s timecard.
