Join our community of Champions
We need you in our corner to strengthen Stanford’s culture of care. As a Champion, you’ll become the trusted voice for sharing wellness news and resources within your workgroup. Join our Champion community now and earn 250 points towards your BeWell incentive. Current Champions will need to sign-up each program year to earn incentive points.
Champion perks

All Champions will receive a wellness email each month with Champion-specific perks, wellness tips, and resources available to all university employees. In addition to the 250 points Champions receive for signing up, Champions also have access to exclusive perks, wellness resources, and opportunities to earn extra points throughout the year:
- Attend Champion-specific trainings to hear about Stanford resources, provide feedback to shape our programming, and learn what other departments are doing to promote employee well-being.
- Present to other Champions what you are doing to foster a healthy work environment.
- Apply for a wellness grant up to two times a year.
- Bring a Healthy Living for Teams class to your workgroup.
- Engage in a BeWell Together activity with your colleagues to improve personal well-being while building community at work. Earn up to 500 points per quarter.
Connect with the Champion community
Connect with the Champions community, and find timely notices of Champion-specific and university-wide wellness opportunities on our Champions Slack channel. You can also share your own posts about wellness and engage in our daily gratitude practice through this channel. The Champions Slack channel allows you to feel more connected to a community of supportive colleagues who similarly value a work environment where all employees feel appreciated and have a sense of wellness and belonging. It may take up to two weeks to be added to the Champion Slack channel once you sign up to become a Champion.
