Giving back at the 2024 Cardinal Walk

You can be a “superhero to your community” in many ways. Whether you’re passionate about environmental sustainability, disaster relief, or any other cause, the Cardinal Walk is an opportunity to champion what matters most to you. Whether you attend the in-person event or participate virtually, there are ways for you to give back at the event and beyond.

Back-to-school drive

Participate in our back-to-school drive by donating school supplies to support the Ecumenical Hunger Program at the Cardinal at Work Cares table. Donate items such as:

Backpacks
Gift cards to Target and Walmart
Glue sticks
Scissors
Crayons
Colored pencils
Spiral notebooks
#2 Pencils
Mechanical pencils

Index cards
Kleenex
Wipes
Anti-bacterial gel
Pocket folders
Pencil/pen zip pouches or pencil boxes, erasers, and pencil sharpeners

You can give back all year by creating an account on the Cardinal at Work Cares Community Opportunities Platform. In the platform, you can select your interests, causes, and organizations and learn how to volunteer your time and get involved.

Earn a raffle entry for giving back

Donating to the back-to-school drive or creating an account on the Community Opportunities Platform automatically earns you an entry into a raffle. Raffle winners will be emailed within one week after the event and will receive a $50 Amazon gift card*.

If you donate virtually, email your receipt to bewell@stanford.edu before midnight PDT on Aug. 7 to be entered into the raffle.

*The $50 Amazon gift card is subject to tax.
