OCD Awareness Week: An Evening with Marc Summers

A gathering for education and support on the topic of obsessive-compulsive disorder. Keynote Marc Summers will share about his lived experience with OCD. Stanford Clinical Professor Jennifer Frankovich will present data on underlying inflammation and inflammatory conditions in patients with OCD (i.e., arthritis subtypes and other underlying inflammatory disease). A panel of experts on obsessive-compulsive and related disorders will take questions from the audience.

Marc is best known for hosting Double Dare (Nickelodeon) and Unwrapped (Food Network), was executive producer for Food Network’s Dinner: Impossible and Restaurant: Impossible. Since 2023, he has hosted the podcast Marc Summers Unwraps. This year he starred in a one-man show about his life, The Life and Slimes of Marc Summers, and is starring in upcoming Hallmark movie, Hanukkah on the Rocks. During his time in the spotlight, Marc was suffering from crippling OCD, a condition he had not even heard of until he was diagnosed live on his own Lifetime talk show in 1995.
