Beginning Zentangle Art
Unlock a new pathway to relaxation and inner focus. The Zentangle Method is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Because the design evolves organically, it is impossible to make a mistake. Some have found that the Zentangle process can help promote a state of flow, calm anxious thoughts, and foster mindfulness.
In this one-hour noontime class, you will be introduced to the practice of Zentangle art and learn two basic patterns that you will use to create a Zentangle tile. You will leave the session with your own unique design and the tools to access this creative mindfulness process anytime, anywhere.
No experience is necessary. You will receive a list of simple supplies needed in your confirmation email.
This class will not be recorded. Attendance requirement for incentive points – at least 80% of the live session.
Request disability accommodations and access info.
Instructor: Jennifer Barber is a certified Zentangle teacher with more than 20 years of experience as an artist in the Bay Area. In 2016 she traveled to Rhode Island to learn the Zentangle method from founders Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts and now shares this mindful art practice with others through classes and workshops.
