Root, root, root for your colleagues!
Are you ready to rally, cheer, and spread your infectious team spirit at the Cardinal Walk? We invite you and your team to join a Cardinal Walk cheer group.
The 17th annual Cardinal Walk will take place on August 10th this year, beginning with festivities in the Stanford Stadium before kicking off for a one-mile walk around campus.
As a cheer group, you’ll be stationed along the Cardinal Walk route to cheer participants on as they pass you by. Your group will be asked to:
- Dress up according to the carnival theme. (Think of the classic “town carnival,” rather than Mardi Gras style). Costumes may be as simple or elaborate as your group desires.
- Work together to create a sign with words of encouragement for participants passing by.
- Be at your cheer station from 11:55 a.m. to 1 p.m.
At the finish line, walkers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite cheer group, and the winning team will be rewarded with $50 Massage Envy gift cards*.
Beyond the prizes, this event is all about fostering connection and team bonding. It’s a chance to forge stronger relationships and create long-lasting memories with your colleagues and the greater Stanford community. Let your cheer skills shine and showcase the true power of teamwork.
