Fitness Classes in ACSR and AOERC managed by Rec
Beginning this fall quarter, Health Improvement Program (HIP) fitness classes offered at the Arrillaga Center for Sports & Recreation (ACSR) and Arrillaga Outdoor Education Recreation Center (AOERC) will be managed by Stanford Recreation and Wellness (Rec).
Most HIP classes will still be offered at the same day and time as before. If you were taking a HIP class at ACSR or AOERC, check the 2019 fall Rec class schedule to confirm the day and time of your class. If your class is not on Rec’s schedule, please check the HIP website to see if your class is still being managed by HIP but offered at a different facility.
To take a class at ACSR or AOERC this fall, purchase a group fitness pass through Rec. Once you complete your SHALA, passes are available at the discounted BeWell rate. Everyone who purchases a pass will be awarded two Berries and have unlimited access to a wide variety of drop-in fitness classes.
You can still register through HIP to take HIP fitness classes offered at 10 other campus locations. Once you complete your SHALA, you are eligible to take two of these classes at the discounted BeWell rate. All HIP classes are Berry eligible.
Fall registration begins Tuesday, September 10 at 9:00 a.m. For questions about specific classes or instructors, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
