Virtual Fix-A-Flat Class

October 28, 2020|12:00pm

Join Stanford Transportation for a free, one-hour online workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 28 (12 – 1 p.m. PDT) that will cover the fundamentals of how to fix a flat tire when you’re on a ride, including: a live demonstration outlining the proper technique and fixing a bike yourself. If you’re not comfortable fixing a flat on your own, feel free to just observe.

The workshop is hosted by Ariadne Delon Scott, Stanford Transportation’s assistant director of active mobility and Robert Alverson, operations manager with Bikes Make Life Better. Both are seasoned cyclists who love to share their riding tips and expertise!

Interested participants must register by using this online form.

Benefits-eligible university employees are able to earn a self-reported BeWell Berry for participating in the online workshop. A completed and signed validation form will be sent to participants who request a berry during the sign-up process. That form can then be uploaded into your BeWell account to receive credit.
