Prioritize Your Well-Being

As a busy professional, it can be hard to take time out of your schedule to prioritize self-care. This can be especially difficult at year’s end, when holiday events and family expectations place even greater demands on our time and attention. Yet taking care of yourself is not a luxury; it’s imperative.

When you are at the bottom of your priority list, it affects not only your health and well-being, but also your relationships and your job performance. Prioritizing self-care is what allows you to build resilience, make informed vs. automatic responses to life stressors, and optimize your critical thinking to respond to life’s challenges.

In this online class, you will learn the short and long-term consequences of stress and discover practical self-care strategies that can be used to prevent stress from turning into distress. We will explore the science behind our biological and psychological response to stress, how to recognize signs that you’re in distress, and six practical self-care strategies that you can incorporate into your life right now to improve your well-being.

Attendance at the live session is required to receive incentive points. This class will not be recorded.
