We can all use more laughter in our lives. Studies have shown that laughter has a number of beneficial effects on our well-being. It can release endorphins that improve your mood, reduce stress and tension, help relieve pain, and bring people closer together. Laughter Yoga is a unique exercise program and a great tool for improving health and happiness, where anyone can laugh for no reason without relying on humor, jokes, or comedies.
In this free online class, you will explore the practice of Laughter Yoga guided by the founder himself. You will learn the five secrets of laughing for no reason, practice laughter exercises that you can do alone or with others, and discover how to bring more laughter and joy into your life through the daily practice of laughter exercises.
Instructor: Madan Kataria, MD, is the founder and creator of the Laughter Yoga movement worldwide. A medical doctor from Mumbai, India, this ‘Guru of Giggling’ started his first laughter club with just five people in 1995, which has grown into a worldwide movement of more than 16,000 Laughter Yoga clubs in over 100 countries.
