Bike to Work during May

Bay Area Bike to Work Day is Thursday, May 18, 2023, but we’re celebrating throughout the entire month of May.

Whether you bike to work, school, parks, shops, libraries, or wherever, biking is good for you and the environment. You will get in some exercise, reduce your carbon footprint, and earn points toward your $560 BeWell incentive.

To learn more about activities and events happening in the Bay Area, visit the Bay Area Bike to Work Day website.

Can’t bike to work?

You can still cheer on your colleagues and celebrate Bike to Work Day by taking public transportation or ridesharing, or you can volunteer at one of Stanford Tranportation’s energy stations on May 18.

Learn more about Bike to Work Day activities at the Stanford and Stanford Redwood City campuses, including bike repair classes and energizer stations on the Stanford Transportation website.

Earn BeWell incentive points

Once you’ve participated in Bike to Work month as a cyclist or event volunteer, or by taking an alternative form of transportation, you can sign in to your BeWell account and complete your attestation form by May 30 to earn points for your participation.
