  • Are you a Stanford employee or the spouse/partner of an employee?

  • Are you a non-contingent, benefits-eligible employee at Stanford University (and not a post-doc, hospital staff or retiree)?

  • Will you take your SHALA (Stanford Health and Lifestyle Assessment) this year?

  • Completing SHALA unlocks the Wellness Profile, Engagement, Berries and all related incentives, plus discounted fitness classes and free select sporting tickets.

  • Will you complete the Wellness Profile (Screening, Advising and Plan)?

  • You are eligible for $200 for completion of the Wellness Profile. This incentive is paid out two pay periods after completion.

    Will you also complete Engagement (Coaching, Class, Commitment, or two sessions of Healthy Work Environment)?

  • You are eligible for $260 for completing Engagement. This incentive will be paid out in early 2019.

  • Are you enrolled on your Stanford employee’s medical plan?

    Are you also sharing your data?

  • In this case, you are eligible to participate in Screening and Advising for your own personal goals, but are not eligible for financial incentives.

  • You are eligible for $220 for completion of the Wellness Profile. This incentive will be paid out in February 2019.

    NOTE: Your spouse (the Stanford employee) must complete the Wellness Profile and Engagement, per program deadlines, in order for you to receive this incentive.

  • If you are both an employee and a spouse/partner of another Stanford employee, please contact bewell@stanford.edu to determine your eligibility.

  • You are unfortunately not eligible for the BeWell program. Please note Hospital employees can participate in HealthySteps to Wellness. Post-docs at the University are not eligible.

  • SHALA is a prerequisite for participating in the program.  You must complete the SHALA to receive perks and incentives.

  • The Wellness Profile is a prerequisite for Engagement incentive.

  • Will you also complete Engagement (Coaching, Class, Commitment or two sessions of Healthy Work Environment)?
