Your BeWell Check-in is an opportunity to have a remote 20-minute wellness coaching session with an expert BeWell Coach. You’ll engage in a non-judgmental, encouraging, and supportive conversation in any area of well-being that is important to you. Through partnership and collaboration, you will co-create an action plan that supports you in achieving your goals and intentions. Conversations can center around:
- Identification of next steps in any area of well-being
- Maintenance/sustainability of current habits
- Reflection of how you are doing
- Biometric numbers as related to behaviors
- Stanford and non-Stanford wellness resources
BeWell Coaches are health and wellness experts who hold degrees and/or certifications in fields such as nutrition, exercise science, counseling, and public health. Whether you want to improve your nutrition, get more physical activity, find healthy ways to relax and manage stress, or keep up with your current healthy habits as your life evolves, your BeWell Coach can support you in creating and sustaining your desired health behaviors.
To register for your session, sign in to your BeWell account with your SUNet ID, go the ‘Activities’ page, find the BeWell Check-in action card, and click the ‘Join’ button. Once you’ve joined the card, you can click on the card to hit the ‘Register Now’ button, which will take you to a registration system to pick your desired appointment day and time. All appointments are available by Zoom or phone.
